Barista 101

Intensive hands-on training on the art and science of coffee preparation. This program will develop the essential knowledge and skills required in the operation of machines, espresso extraction, and milk steaming. Includes survey lecture- demonstrations on the History of Coffee, Elements of Coffee Tasting, different coffee brewing methods, and machine parts and maintenance. Special emphasis will be on cleanliness and discipline in the work area. ​

Latte Art Appreciation

Are you curious on how Baristas make those elegant designs in your

cup of joe? This course will focus on milk

steaming and texturing, proper cup handling and step-by-step procedure on how to

pour milk into your espresso and create that latte art.

Brewing Basics

Learn the basics of manual brewing, different brewing methods/equipment and the differences between them, coffee to water ratio, brewing recipes, and grind sizes to get the best flavors in your cup of joe.
