Brewing Basics
Course Description
Brewing Basics is a short, hands-on course designed to build a solid foundation in coffee brewing. The course covers common brewing methods, essential brewing parameters, and how these variables influence the final cup. Through demonstrations, guided tastings, and hands-on practice, participants will learn to evaluate their brews and make simple adjustments to improve extraction, balance, and overall cup quality. Key Topics 1. Introduction to Coffee: Coffee plants, processing methods, and roast levels 2. Introduction to Manual Brewing: Understanding the fundamentals and purpose of manual brewing 3. Brewing Methods: Exploring different manual brewing techniques 4. Brewing Parameters: Understanding grind size, coffee-to-water ratio, water quality, temperature, and brewing time 5. Brewing Demonstration & Tasting: Observing brewing principles in practice and evaluating brewed coffee 6. Hands-On Brewing: Applying brewing fundamentals through guided practice 7. Booking and Rescheduling Policy
All payments made for courses are final and non-refundable. However, in certain cases, rescheduling may be permitted provided that a formal request is made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the course. Requests made after this period may no longer be accommodated, and the payment will be forfeited. Please note that class schedules are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements. In such cases, all enrolled participants will be promptly notified, and appropriate arrangements will be made to ensure minimal disruption.
