I was formally introduced to the world of coffee through BCAA. I was a coffee drinker way before I started taking their barista courses, but I learned and understood more about coffee because of the classes I took with them. I was able to use what I learned when I opened my business. I was hands on with the things that I learned in the academy. The mentors and staff are very welcoming and are always open to the students' concerns.

BCAA is where I had almost all of my professional trainings - from coffee processing to roasting to Q grader course and calibration. The instructors, both in-house and invited are very professional, credible and knowledgeable. I am also amazed at how efficient and accommodating their staff is. BCAA is a family to me more than a school. They help you grow and access opportunities that were previously out of reach. I'm proud to be a BCAA alumna.

I started having interest with coffee a few years back, until I became curious on how to operate an espresso machine. My interest with coffee got deeper because I enrolled in BCAA. I learned a lot about coffee - more than just operating the espresso machine. Now, I have my own coffee shop and I was able to teach my baristas what I learned from BCAA. It was such a great experience to learn about coffee with them, especially because their mentors and staff became my friends. I'm always happy to visit and share another cup with them.
